Molecular Weight :
The protein has a predicted MW of 131.48 kDa (ITGAV) and 79.1 kDa (ITGB6). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 120-160 kDa (ITGAV) and 90-120 kDa (ITGB6) based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Endotoxin Level :
Less than 1EU per μg by the LAL method.

Formulation :
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution :
Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
Storage and Stability :

Background :
ITGAV&ITGB6 is a receptor for fibronectin and cytotactin. It recognizes the sequence R-G-D in its ligands. Internalisation of integrin alpha-V/beta-6 via clathrin-mediated endocytosis promotes carcinoma cell invasion. ITGAV&ITGB6 acts as a receptor for fibrillin-1 (FBN1) and mediates R-G-D-dependent cell adhesion to FBN1.
